arkhangel,30.10.2005
The idea is to have a separate place for the English language.
To enter here writing is Spanish would defeat the purpose of this place.
No doubt that it may be done by some people. I do hope that the moderator coud stop it, because it would amount to sabotage.

rosend,30.10.2005
Hello, I`m where am I

Jorval,30.10.2005

agua_viva,30.10.2005
Hi, nice people. I´m ready to practise my English.

Selkis,30.10.2005
My english is horrible, but it’s a chance to learn more. I’ll like to read your english stories, with the dictionary as helper! I can’t write even, I haven’t english inspiration. And my translation are very bads. In the future, possibly... It’s good to learn any language.

cafeina,30.10.2005
"It’s good to learn any language."

No doubt...
I'm waiting for "thestories.net" in Esperanto.

Selkis,30.10.2005

Exactly my thoughts.

Its like watch El Chapulín Colorado on english.

SandiLaguna,30.10.2005
Follow me the good fellows!

Aniuxa,31.10.2005
I have a question:

Are we story-tellers?

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no river wide enough

I will follow yoy Sandi-lake

cafeina,31.10.2005
I have only a one tale:

This is the ceiling,
this is the floor,
this is the table,
and this is the Cat.

cafeina,31.10.2005
( I have only one tale )

cafeina,31.10.2005
Creo que nos estamos desviando del tópico:
I think we are out of topic:

El tópico dice: ¿Qué pasa si vengo y escribo en castellano?

If I write in english, my balls are green (yeah, both of them)

So, it's easy man. Just do it!

Rene-Caballero,31.10.2005
cafeina you finish giving a good idea to me to learn English, to write in both languages some words. [F:12:2]

SandiLaguna,31.10.2005

I do not believe that it is necessary to translate, as for me I will not throw to you to kicks, since I do not know much English, but this one is a good opportunity to improve

Isamar,31.10.2005
My God, this is a great exercise to practice my english....

cafeina,31.10.2005
SandiLake:

I was talking about my ass, is a little and pretty ass. I don't want they to put a big foot on my ass.
My mother give me this ass, my father enlarge it with his hands. (Oh my God! I'm not translating, I'm interpreting, sorry about).

( I hope Rosend "the macho" translate this to Esperanto )

easy_eater,01.11.2005
jajajaja The Esperanto! It´s a good subjet to start spiking now about. Who knows something about the Esperanto?

cafeina,01.11.2005
easy: Rosend knows Esperanto.
He knows almost ten or fifteen diferent languages.
He's a "monster".

cafeina,01.11.2005
Esperanto la carroza

rosend,01.11.2005
Let`s see:
Sanuslagonis ha dictatus:
Kioma raporti patoduka dei Gikiss et culandete sipi io escribieris at españoli, erolis kaput me della pagginetakos...
Something like this in Esperanto.
It`s very true that I speak over than fifteen languages, including Taladrense, Lanusico y Montegradesco.
Salutations

cafeina,01.11.2005
Como le dije, easy_eater.
El hombre es un "monster".

Ups... perdón, esto debía ir en inglés.
Let's translate the whole message to enlish:

As I said, easy_eater.
The man is a real "monster".
Ups... sorry, this must be wroted in spanish.

Let me translate some words to english.

As you know, Rosendo, easy_eater don't creía que you can escribir todo at Esperanto.
Ups... sorry...

rosend,01.11.2005

rosend,01.11.2005
It really depends on the language you wat to translate it to, basic spanish: comedor fàcil
Taladrense: que fàcil se la come
esperanto: Mangatis rapidus et sim respiratoriar

rosend,01.11.2005

Hmmm... my spanish teacher -a cute and old lady-, teach me the word "comérsela".
¿Can we use this word, when we try to figured out how to translate "eater"?

rosend,01.11.2005

Are you really an easy_eater?
If so, please, eat me! I am game;
I am hot, I need no heater,
But tell me that you are a dame!

GAIUS,03.11.2005
Hey Malomo, it is a nice surprise to find you here
and have the chance to thank you for your notes
to my short-short story The Seven Colors Bird.
Initially I wanted to title it "El Pájaro Variopinto",
but ended up using The Seven Colors Bird for a
biblical reference that I hope some reader will be
able to notice.
You are right about the one "Y" conjunction too
many.
However, about the use of "ni" there is something
you didn't decode.
"No" is simply a negative adverb, and it is absolute
but at the same time highly restrictive.
"Ni", as a coordinating conjunction has an ampler
use, and sometimes, as in the case I am commen-
ting, is the best way to establish the extensive ne-
gation by contrast where the restrictive negation
is left unsaid, but indicated by the conjunction.
In the case of sound, listen and hear give the idea
of an operation more acute than perceive.
When the expression "Ni percibir" is used the con-
junction is indicating that hear and/or listen have
been omitted, as in an ellipsis, replacing the envol-
ving "could neither listen, nor - even - perceive...."
One of the benefits of these interchanges between
reader and writer, one both share the same passion
for literature, is that both learn not only how to wri-
te and read better, but also when something that
one considered immediately clear to the reader co-
mes out as a source of either confusion or excessi-
ve attention on the part of the decoders of the
message.
Thanks most sincerely for your comments. They are
a big help on the way to improvement of the tools
and resources.

GAIUS,03.11.2005
Sorry, I forgot to mention that my cousin Alex
opened this page, but the texts will be by me,
Sanuto, the Big Mouth on the other page.

Malomo,03.11.2005
You're welcome.
In one of your stories I told you something like: "I would like to read this in english"
I have the chance now I guess.
Regards.

GAIUS,04.11.2005
I am sorry Malomo, you are referring to "Fucking
Colombians and Other Demons" whose rights of
reproduction in English belong to "Pinkfeather Edi-
torial".
I can publish it, and - in fact - I have done it, in
Spanish, Italian, French or any other language in
which I may be proficient enough to do it well.
I will contact Mr. Eagleson Chief Editor and will
ask for the probable permission, given the fact
that this qualifies as a non-profit Site.
If I get it, I promise I will put it here in its original
English version.
By the way, the colombians refused to allow the novel to be distributed in their country.
Same as they did when Orduño Editorial tried to
publish the Spanish version of my "The Gayrrilla
Fagtory".

SandiLaguna,04.11.2005
This thread is going to hell.

GAIUS,04.11.2005
Let it be a lesson.
Threads started with a question have a very short
span.
Statements, the more controversial the better,
are the best to keep digressions out.

why cafeina is black!?

malomo,26.11.2005
Because he left his heart in San Francisco.

GAIUS,27.11.2005
Because he sweetened himself with "mielanin".

malomo,27.11.2005
Because it's supposed to be black.
