Sit Down to Remember
Thank you,
Thank you for bringing into my memory those remembrances
Two years and a half ago, I listened you frequently
I remember that winter like a yesterday
It was not a very good epoch
But I like to remember
And when I listened you singing that song,
Sat in my bed
Came to me this idea
I just had the idea of putting the radio
And I arrived upon you.
Thank you,
Thank you for making me remember,
You are like the star of the remembrance
Like a recorder in the sky
Is God who brought you to me; and your song, that says “thank you”
I don’t know why does it say “thank you”
But I know it’s a beautiful song
I was only a fourteen-year-old,
I had friends and enemies; good things and bad things had happened me,
Including fears in the night
It was quite a special time.
Thank you
Thank you for all
Including for arriving in my memory again
Although I can’t stay here remembering forever.
I know, I know, I know
That although this die,
Life goes on
I have to show you that I don’t always need you
Almost always I get by alone
But I can’t deny
REMEMBER IS BEAUTIFUL!!
