LONELY TOGETHER
Only because between us there were no more talks,
But only a dull monologue, the transparency
I crossed of your no more disguised indifference,
Looking downhearted through town for new replacing barks.
I pilfered bays, and howls, and yowls, like a stealing booster.
In the sidewalks, streets, squares, humid dirty sites,
Until mordacious, cold singsongs of flipping roosters
Took out the caring, gentle, mantle of the night
And brought the clear and whizzing light of morning, that
Dazzled and scared me like an old latecomer bat.
I, thus, to the innermost of myself withdrew.
Before, however, getting all the woofs, begun
A long and poignant yowl, that woke up the red sun,
But that, - regret – will never, ever, be heard by you…
